Hey Havenites,

It is I, your fearless but extremely absent leader. Eggie e-mailed me that the site was down so fast as a flash I figured out I needed to renew the domain name and now we are back on-line for another fun filled year of excitement.

All kidding aside - I am sorry I have not been around in a long time, but life has gotten the better of me. I definitely missed this place, and am happy to see at least a few of you are still using it. For a long time this was my primary place for Internet interactions, but that damn Facebook has taken it's place.

This place could do with some sprucing up. If only I had the time.

We solved the mystery of "why is the Haven down?" last night when I did a WhoIs of the domain.

S'okay Hack! Don't worry about it. I figured you just forgot/were busy with life/possibly in the poorhouse. With our economy *everywhere* and our Canadian dollar on the decline, anything could happen.

Anyways, it's good to hear from you again and thank you very much for bringing back the place!

To be honest, I wasn't sure anyone was coming here anymore. Glad to see the faithful are still around :-)

When the Haven goes down, it's like we're forced to sleep on a hard couch, as opposed to our nice comfy bed... the Haven is our nice comfy bed, we know it's there when we get home from our crazy daily lives.
